On my playlist: I finally tore the cellophane off some remastered Beatles CDs. They were a gift from H ... oh, two Christmases ago. Might I just say. Wow. Beatles in stereo. Good stuff. And some rare German versions of "She Loves You" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Nice.
On my plate: CHERRIES. Did you know CHERRIES are here? Go get 'em. I can't eat any around Alexa or she will insist she eats half of each one. I don't mind sharing so much, though, because I can't blame the girl for loving the CHERRIES.
On my Kindle: Finally finished "Insurgent" by Veronica Roth. It started off so slow I was sure I was going to give it two thumbs down. It picked up about 40 chapters in. And I'm not so sure how I feel about the ending. I do know I'll read the final book in the trilogy. So ... mixed review. Anyone else read "Insurgent"? Thoughts?
On my TV: On Mother's Day I insisted that we watch "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," which led to "3 O'Clock High" which led to "Switchblade Sisters." I've been grooving on cheese and camp lately. And, since my mother-in-law left on Sunday, I've been watching my obsession: "Prison Break." I'm on the third season now, and it's getting ri-gosh-darn-diculous. LOVE IT.
On my wish list: New pillows. Ones that do not give me a literal pain in the neck.
On my mind: Saving our cash for a trip to Morocco. How do you fiscally responsible people do it? You know, those of you who are not distracted by shiny things. Any tips?
