
On my playlist: Guess what I found in one of my old CD cases this morning? "A Rush of Blood to the Head" by Coldplay. I would be willing to bet I haven't listened to that CD in 10 years. Good stuff! Also, I've been playing the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack on vinyl pretty much every morning for the past week. Gotta start the mornings perfecting my John Travolta disco moves.
On my plate: Ice pops. In particular, Target's tropical flavors.
On my Kindle: I'm crawling my way through "1Q84" by Haruki Murakami. I say crawling because I've been reading forever but when I check my progress I'm only 14 percent done with the tome. Come to find out it's 944 pages long. Now it's a race against the clock on whether I'll finish before my loan expires. It's compelling, but it's an actual novel. So it takes brain cells to read, and my brain cells are tired and turn themselves off after 40 pages a night.
On my TV: Finished "Prison Break" last night. A tear welled up in the corner of my left eye, and then I got pissed off. The ending left a sour taste in my mouth. Still, I was entertained. Even after some would say the show jumped the shark, I kept watching. I love ridiculous action and political thrillers. To cleanse my palate, H and I watched "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" tonight. So choice!
On my wish list: Free time. More of it, please.
On my mind: How it would probably be in my best interest to get off the computer and pack Alexa's backpack for tomorrow but unfortunately I know and you know -- hell everyone knows -- I am going to click "Publish," shut this box down and hit the hay instead. On my count: Five, four, three, two, one ...
