Do you have a go-to salad? I'm curious what ingredients you turn to over and over again. Apparently I like to reach for the caesar vinaigrette (sadly not homemade).

  1. mmm That looks good. I always put an egg or chicken on it. I always use some sort of cheese. This week it's gorgonzola or mozzarella.

  3. Wow, you really have some great combos. We tend to be pretty boring with our salads. My favorite type of salad has feta, strawberries, and toasted pecans on a bed of spinach. Add a little bit of chicken (grilled or baked) and some olive oil and vinegar dressing and I am good to go!

  4. I really meant to try strawberries on a salad this month, like a REAL salad, but all I managed to do was make a "dessert" salad with strawberries, spinach and cottage cheese. It was meh. I still want to do something cool with strawberries in a salad sometime.

  5. Please do! It would make my day if you tried (and liked) one of these, or just used them as an idea for your own. :-)

  6. Eggs = my go-to weapon. They make everything better! And I love gorgonzola.
