There are a lot of possibilities, and here are a few of the items I love. I've mixed up price points, added a few options for little girls, and the skirt (No. 3 directly below) is a plus-size find I am loving (plus it's on clearance, holler!).
Would you wear chambray? If so, what would you pair it with?
Psst: I'm linking up with Deanna's Fall Fashion Week. I would post what I'm wearing, but it's the same stuff I wear year-round (it is not fall in L.A. by a long shot). So we can dream. Pretend I'm wearing that chambray skirt with tall brown boots (if ever I were to find a pair that fit) and a rust-colored long-sleeved shirt. Got it? Good!

Funny that you post this! I just listed a J. Crew chambray tunic that I was thinking about keeping and pairing with a pair of black leggings and some knee-high boots (don't ask me which ones because I can't locate any of my boots at the moment).
ReplyDeleteHaha! We are on the same fashion wavelength. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI needed this post! I big time love hte chambray look but have been scrambling to find ways to make it wearable in my own day to day. Love this, thanks!
ReplyDeletei think this post is great. the chambray look can be a little crazy if you go overboard, but i think you got it right. :)
ReplyDeleteChambray kind of reminds me of junior high school...not sure I could stomach wearing it again. Ha!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I think my fave look is with colored denim...
ReplyDeleteThanks! I would totally do your Kelly Kapowski look with a chambray button-down tied in the front. Like so:

I felt the same way about leggings, but then they took the stirrups off and I fell in love again. I'm a sucker for recycled fashion!
ReplyDeleteThis being said, I am a little hesitant about neon. A little.
I'm late to the chambray party but you're selling me. I like the bottom left one the most! So cute.
