On my playlist: Grouplove's "Never Trust a Happy Song." This album is incredible, and I'd love to listen to it in my car. Except. My car won't read the burned CD I made from my iTunes purchase. I have tried troubleshooting, but no dice. It's frustrating that some random mix CD I made in 2002 works, but the latest technology somehow is too sophisticated for a CD player. I guess this means I need to get an a/v input installed so I can use my iPod again.
On my plate: I've been eating my Everything But the Hamburger sandwich. Pickles, cheese, mustard, onions, cucumbers. I am neither pregnant nor insane. Well, the jury's still out on insane.
On my
On my TV: "The Walking Dead." Just getting into it, no spoilers please! It's one of those shows that makes me kind of sick to my stomach, and yet I can't stop watching. Throw some vampires, goblins, witches, ghosts or demons my way, no problem, but zombies? SCARY.
On my wish list: More vacation time. Unfortunately this wish cannot be granted. But I would love to have a month. A few weeks to visit family. A few weeks to take a real vacation, to a never-been-to destination, for the first time in more than two years.
On my mind: Getting over this cold (c/o Alexa's daycare). We were coughing in stereo this morning. I hope it's almost run its course. They always say kids bring home the germs, but no one told me I would be nursing 4-6 colds per year. Good grief.

Love this list! I need to try this. It's like that old Xanga app that I loved on the blog I wrote in high school: currently listening to (and then a graphic of a CD), currently watching (and then a graphic of a DVD), currently reading... etc.
ReplyDeleteAnd colds and kids... tell me about it!
I hear you on the cold. I'm fighting one off too right now and it seems that the kids keep giving it back and forth to each other. Ugh... Hubby started watching the previous seasons of The Walking Dead on Netflix and caught up just in time for the new season to start. I hardly can bear to watch it.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching an episode right now, and I don't know why I do this to myself. It's too tense. It's making me crazy!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I thought about doing it because I looked through an old journal of mine and thought, "Hey, it's pretty cool to see what I was listening to/reading at any given moment. Maybe I should do that on my blog."
